From Freddie Mac’s weekly survey:  The 30-year fixed rate remains unchanged from last week’s average rate of 4.94 percent. The 15-year fixed increased 3 basis points, averaging 4.36 percent.
The Mortgage Bankers Association reported a 4 percent decrease in loan application volume from the previous week.
