Why you should check out Uptown Whittier’s changing restaurant and dining scene

There are red banners along Greenleaf Avenue in Whittier that encourage people to “Dine Uptown,” and it’s solid advice: There are more than 25 restaurants, as well as coffee and tea houses, lounges and tasting rooms in a three-block area.
“People are embracing the food because of the diversity that’s going on right now,” Chef Dalton Wilson of The Bar & Grill @ Ravello said. “They’re ready for new flavors and new twists on old flavors
