Why the Long Beach Zombie Fest will not rise this year

After years of roaming through the streets of downtown, the Long Beach Zombie Fest will not rise this year due to permit issues.
“We’re sad … we enjoy the event as much as the attendees do,” said Traci Wintori, event coordinator for festival producers O Entertainment.
“This is a family event we look forward to every year, but unfortunately we don’t have control,” she said.
