Why political discourse is on a ventilator machine: Paula Priamos

First off, I did not vote for Trump nor did I vote for Clinton during the 2016 election. I wrote in my choice, someone whom I thought deserved the role and didn’t get it. I hear I’m not alone. Nearly 30 percent of voters took their right as an American citizen in a democracy and chose not to vote. Some say that’s selfish and myself and others should’ve chosen the lesser of the two evils. But I view my vote as my own individual voice and I will not allow it to be silenced.
