Whittier standoff ends with woman’s arrest

An alleged dispute between neighbors led to a multi-hour standoff late Saturday between police and the occupant of a pickup truck in a Whittier intersection.
Crisis negotiators and a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team were called out Saturday to assist with a standoff with a woman at Putnam Street and Sante Fe Springs Road, Deputy Charles Moore said.
