Whicker: UCLA hasn’t found the right coach, but she’s out there

What’s happening, or not happening, at UCLA is reminiscent of what happened with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999.
The Spurs correctly felt they were headed for an NBA title. They hired a team of marketers, branders and other non-essential personnel to come up with a playoff slogan. They spent untold thousands on the project.
What came out of those consultations was the following battle cry:
Go Spurs Go.
