Whicker: Lakers, like all small businesses, need your support

With masks and gloves in place, we finally went to Jeanie & Rob’s the other morning.
No, it wasn’t the sensible thing. We knew we should stay inside and order something on Lakers.com. But small businesses are so crucial. If they were kind enough to reopen, this was the least we could do.
We were encouraged by their self-restraint. Even though their lot was nearly empty, they still were charging $30 to park and not a penny more.
