Whicker: Brandon Rios is back, whether you like it or not

LOS ANGELES — Retirement is hard. Especially when nobody talks you out of it.
Brandon Rios sat behind a microphone on Nov. 8, 2015 and said goodbye to boxing. He was only 29, but he had been in front-line combat for years, and his body was  beginning to scream from the shots he had just taken from Tim Bradley.
Rios had just been knocked out by Bradley, who isn’t known for that. He couldn’t finish the ninth round, and he never had been stopped before.
