Whicker: Boxing loses its main stage as HBO leaves the game

HBO Boxing was the neon rainbow for Dmitry Bivol. It was his Carnegie Hall.
“I would get up at 5 in the morning to watch their fights,” Bivol said. “I remember watching Mike Tyson. That was my goal, not only to become a champion but to fight on HBO.”
Bivol, from Kazakhstan, gets there Saturday night, and not a round too soon.
