Wetlands work helps restore, spruce up dwindling coastal habitat

It’s a glimpse at what coastal Orange County once was – and volunteers want to keep it clean and pristine.
Helpers with OC Habitat showed up at the Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy on Saturday, Jan. 16, to pluck out invasive plants, pick up trash and spruce up the area, one of the few remaining wetlands of its kind along the coast.
