Westminster overpowers Beckman with smooth-running offense

TUSTIN – Westminster scored 21 points in the second quarter, including a timely score to take the lead just before halftime, and kept rushing the ball in the second half to pull away from Beckman, 41-20, in both teams’ nonleague finale Saturday at Tustin High.
“Every game we have played better in the second half,” Westminster coach Ted McMillen said. “We continued that tonight. We finished the game.”
