Wayne Arnold, Cal State Fullerton start strong at Cable Car Classic

SANTA CLARA — Sophomore guard Wayne Arnold scored a season-high 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Cal State Fullerton defeated Southeast Missouri State 64-57 in its Cable Car Classic opener on Wednesday at Santa Clara’s Leavey Center.
Arnold was 7 for 13 from the field, including a 3-for-7 mark from 3-point range.
Senior guard Austen Awosika added 13 points, six rebounds and four assists for Fullerton (3-3), while senior guard Brandon Kamga added eight points and six rebounds.
