You’re not alone. A survey from staffing firm OfficeTeam reveals more than two in five workers (or 44 percent) would leave their current job for another one with better pay. That’s not surprising considering that wage hikes have slowed in recent years.
Figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show the average hourly wage for production and non-supervisory workers in the U.S. was $22.62 in June, an increase of just $2.04 from five years earlier.
