Viewpoint’s Thomas Finello blazes to CIF State swimming title

FRESNO – Viewpoint sprinter Thomas Finello struggled to decide Saturday which of his two exciting achievements at the CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships was best.
But it didn’t matter because both helped the senior cap his high school career in spectacular fashion.
The USC-bound Finello unleashed a dramatic personal-best time in the 100-yard freestyle and captured his first state crown by blazing a school-record time of 44.18 seconds at Clovis West High.
