Video shows great white shark hooked off San Clemente Pier

A video shows a 6-foot great white shark snagged off the San Clemente Pier this week, before it was able to break free from the line and swim away.
Crowds gathered to watch from the pier at about 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22. Among them was San Clemente Pier Grill & Tackle owner Scott Shipley, who shot video of the shark on the line near pier pilings.
