Valley View Casino & Hotel extends coronavirus closure

Valley View Casino & Hotel in Valley Center has extended its closure through April 16, officials for the casino announced on Monday, March 30.
A letter from Valley View’s General Manager Bruce Howard posted on Valley View’s website said that officials planned to reopen the casino, hotel and restaurants at 8 a.m., April 17, “but as we all know that date could change.”
In a previous announcement, the casino had planned to reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, April 3.
