Valencia coach Yoshimura resigns

Dean Yoshimura has resigned as Valencia varsity boys basketball coach, he announced today.
Yoshimura, 59, coached the Tigers for 27 seasons. They won five league championships during his tenure. His record is 403-341.
Yoshimura also coached volleyball at Valencia. His girls volleyball teams won four league championships. His boys volleyball teams won three league championships.
He said via email that he will continue at Valencia as a math teacher through the 2021-22 school year.
