USC’s first scrimmage will go long way toward quarterback decision
LOS ANGELES – USC kept things easy on Thursday after its first day of full-pads practice. The Trojans went with helmets only prior to an off day Friday. But the rest is part of a plan to help USC prepare for Saturday, the Trojans’ first full scrimmage of the fall.
After a few individual drills, USC will play a full 11-on-11 scrimmage. The plan is to split the quarterback reps between JT Daniels, Kedon Slovis, Jack Sears and Matt Fink evenly between first- and second-team offenses.
