USC offensive line has not forgotten Cotton Bowl loss
LOS ANGELES — The end to last season was particularly tough for USC’s offensive line.
In the Trojans’ thumping by Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl, they were overrun by the Buckeyes and allowed quarterback Sam Darnold to be sacked eight times. It was the most sacks they had allowed in a game in almost 20 years. They failed to generate much of a running game, too, compiling just 57 yards on 36 carries.
