USC notebook: DE Christian Rector, RB Markese Stepp game-time decisions for BYU game

LOS ANGELES — USC defensive end Christian Rector and tailback Markese Stepp will both be game-time decisions for the Trojans’ game against BYU on Saturday, head coach Clay Helton said.
Rector, a senior captain, injured his ankle in the second half of last weekend’s victory over Stanford. He was limited to the stationary bike in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday but was able to work on the field on Thursday.
