USC football begins life after Sam Darnold vs. UNLV

After months of pondering life at USC without Sam Darnold, it begins Saturday.
JT Daniels takes over as the starting quarterback, a heralded true freshman who graduated a year early from Mater Dei High to join the Trojans. After battling redshirt sophomore Matt Fink and redshirt freshman Jack Sears for the starting job in training camp and preseason practices, Daniels was tapped this week as the successor to Darnold and is set to take over for this season, which begins against UNLV in the Colise
