USC aims to improve running game by gaining tougher yards

LOS ANGELES — A few days after USC ran for a season-high 253 rushing yards at Arizona, Trojans offensive coordinator Tee Martin reflected on the breakout performance.
Martin brought up senior running back Aca’Cedric Ware’s 69-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter.

The encouraging aspect, Martin thought, was when Ware shed a potential tackler about 20 yards downf
