U.S. women’s volleyball sweeps Canada in international friendly

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — The start of the 2020 Olympic cycle offers some excitement for Coach Karch Kiraly as he looks for the next group of contributors for the U.S. women’s volleyball program.
Tuesday night, in the first match of the new cycle, the U.S., with a lot of new faces on the court and veterans watching from the stands, swept Canada, 25-21, 25-22, 27-25, in an exhibition at JSerra High.
