University High baseball team off to 3-0 start under new coach

University High’s new baseball coach, Steve Hindman, has his team off to a 3-0 start.
The Trojans captured an 8-6 victory over Estancia High on Feb. 24 in the Newport Elks Tournament. Rahul Pal had two hits and two RBI, Ryan Shaw had two RBI and Adam Axtell scored three runs to lead the Trojans offensively.
University opened the season with a 7-4 tournament victory over Savanna High on Feb. 20 before defeating La Quinta 9-0 on Feb. 22.
