Underground fire near Disneyland prompts Grand Legacy hotel to shut power off

ANAHEIM — Repair crews Friday morning were at the scene of a fire in an underground vault in Anaheim that sent smoke spewing out of a manhole cover near Disneyland and prompted power to be shut off at a 240-room hotel nearby.
Firefighters were called out about 9:40 p.m. Thursday to the 1700 block of South Harbor Boulevard to investigate the nature of the smoke, according to Anaheim Fire & Rescue.
Anaheim Public Utilities crews responded to the location and took over the investigation,
