Unanimous Supreme Court throws out ‘Bridgegate’ convictions

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday threw out the convictions of two political insiders involved in New Jersey’s “Bridgegate” scandal, saying that “not every corrupt act by state or local officials is a federal crime.”
