UCLA’s Jaelan Phillips finds early success on practice field
LOS ANGELES — Jaelan Phillips tousles his curly black hair, pulling at the thick mess that somewhat resembles an overgrown Mohawk. He reluctantly cut it a few months ago when his locks became too difficult to manage on an early-morning college schedule.
