The gazes followed Maya Brady everywhere she went at UCLA’s famed Easton Stadium.
They marveled at her during warmups. They studied the freshman as she stepped into the batter’s box as the cleanup hitter for the defending NCAA champion Bruins. They watched as she patrolled center field.
