UCLA prepares for move to shady Rose Bowl sideline

LOS ANGELES — To celebrate the end of training camp, UCLA  coach Jim Mora gave his players two days off. After 17 practices in 18 days, they welcomed the down time. With only a week and a half left until their season opener against Texas A&M, there might not be many other opportunities to rest.
The Bruins are caught between training camp and game week. They haven’t fully entered game-week mode, but practices will start to include some simulated scout-team periods.
