UCLA men’s basketball confronts pressing issue
UCLA committed all the sins of breaking the press. The Bruins caught the ball in the coffin corner. They invited traps. They didn’t run the baseline while inbounding. They let a 13-point lead dwindle to five in 61 seconds.
They don’t want it to happen again.
After getting flustered by Long Beach State’s late full-court press last week, the No. 20 Bruins refocused their attention in practice entering Friday’s game against Saint Francis at 8 p.m. at Pauley Pavilion.
