UCLA football graph: Breaking down the scholarship numbers

Due to recent departures, UCLA is well below the maximum number of scholarship players allowed for FBS schools. The Bruins have an estimated 71 scholarship players on the roster for the upcoming season, which means 14 positions (16.5 percent of the maximum 85) are open.
