UCLA football closes training camp with optimism

LOS ANGELES — The Rose Bowl is calling UCLA home, but returning to the storied stadium isn’t the only thing Michael Alves is looking forward to in the coming week.
The offensive lineman can’t wait to just sit in meetings and game-plan again. He’s looking forward to watching film and learning about another team’s defense for a change.
