UCLA faces Stanford in Pac-12 women’s basketball semifinal tonight

After a too-close-for-comfort battle with its crosstown rival USC on Friday night, the UCLA women’s basketball team advanced to its fifth consecutive Pac-12 Tournament semifinal for a battle between two of the top teams in the country.
The No. 8 Bruins (26-4 overall, 14-4 Pac-12) face No. 7 Stanford in the later of the two semifinals Saturday night. Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
The other semifinal features top-seeded Oregon, which is ranked No
