Two shot, injured in Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA — A man and woman were found with gunshot wounds Monday night, Oct. 2, on a street outside of an apartment complex, according to authorities.
Around 9:10 p.m., officers responded to a shots-fired call near the intersection of Mendoza Drive and Valencia Street, Costa Mesa police Sgt. Patrick Wessel said. They found the victims in the road.
The man and woman, whose names and ages were not released, were taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
