Two new GOP challengers enter 2020 race against Rep. Katie Porter

Two more GOP candidates have filed to enter the race for CA-45 in 2020, making it six Republicans and one Democrat who want to take the House seat from Rep. Katie Porter
The deadline for candidates to get their names on the March 3 California primary ballot, by filing paperwork with the Orange County Registrar of Voters, is Dec. 6. No one so far has emerged as a leading contender against Porter, D-Irvine, with none getting endorsements from the local, state or federal Republican parties.
