Two new coronavirus cases confirmed in LA County, bringing total to 13

Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer confirmed Friday, March 6, there were two new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total of confirmed cases in the county to 13.
One of the two additional cases was contracted by a health screener at LAX — who worked alongside another health screener identified with the virus earlier this week.
The Centers for Disease Control would be investigating the origins of that case since it occurred in federal jurisdiction at the airport so det
