Triple Crown winner Justify retiring from racing

Justify, the chestnut colt who seemingly came out of nowhere this year to win the Triple Crown, has been retired from racing, according to a press release Wednesday from his ownership.
After debuting with a seven-furlong victory Feb. 18 at Santa Anita, Justify retires as only the 13th horse to capture the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes, with a 6-0 record and $3,798,000 in earnings.
