Trash becomes treasure in Sherman Library and Gardens exhibit

Ron Yeo spent a career designing buildings that many of us see every day.
Now, his retirement years are spent making art that also is seen every day.
Yeo designed the Back Bay Science Center and the Muth Interpretive Center during his 57 years as an Orange County architect.
Today, he is the artist behind Jungle Junk Critters, an exhibit of 20 sculptures made from discarded beach toys, bottle caps and general junk, at the Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar.
