Transient accused of setting man on fire charged with attempted murder

A transient accused of setting a man on fire, seriously injuring him, has been charged with attempted murder.
Adrian Alberto Rodriguez Herrera, 45, is also facing felony  arson, assault with caustic chemicals and possession of flammable materials charges related to the April 10 attack in Santa Ana, according to a criminal complaint filed in Orange County Superior Court.
Police allege that the victim, a 64-year-old transient, was sitting on a sidewalk near First Street and Broadway and talki
