Transfer numbers steady in CIF-Southern Section

The number of transfers in the CIF-Southern Section over the past three school years is steady, according to data provided by the CIF-SS office.
The data shows that the sit-out period option is growing in popularity.
The number of transfers, when the change of residence and sit-out period transfers are combined, was 4,661 in the 2014-15 school year, 4,760 in the 2015-16 school year, and in the 2016-17 school year. The CIF-Southern Section has 575 member schools.
