Train hits person on tracks in San Clemente

An Amtrak train struck a person on the tracks in San Clemente today, Metrolink said in a series of tweets.
OC Line 660 to Oceanside was canceled at San Clemente because of the accident involving Amtrak 769, a tweet said.
“Passengers can board OCTA bus 7587 as alternate transportation to Oceanside,” it said.
