Throwdown at the Gastronome as CSUF international students hold cook-off
It was a cutthroat kitchen on the Cal State Fullerton campus Nov. 18 when five teams from the International Students Association competed in a pre-Thanksgiving cook-off.
For the club’s League of Kitchens, students prepared vegetarian biryani from India/Pakistan; chole bhature from India; pav bhaji from India; pasta from Italy; and chicken adobo from the Philippines. The chole bhature took first prize and pav bhaji second.
