Three extra months needed to sell Orange County’s million-dollar homes

Orange County may be known for its million-dollar housing, but owners of those properties better be patient if they’re thinking about selling.
ReportsOnHousing, which tracks listings in local broker networks, found a 100-day gap in the estimated selling speed between the existing housing for sale listed for more than $1 million and lower-priced housing. The report’s “market time” metric compares the supply of listings to demand, measured as new escrows opened.
