Thousands rode Anahiem’s free FRAN system in its first year

In its first full year offering rides around downtown Anaheim, the city’s network of minibuses has given more than 40,000 free lifts, officials said.
FRAN, Free Rides Around the Neighborhood, debuted last January to move people around the Center City neighborhood and its popular Packing District and Center Street Promenade.
