Anyone who lives in Orange County has seen the art of Tom Van Sant, even if you don’t know his name. You probably drive past a creation of his every day, whether it be his relief sculpture of pelicans, “Flight Forms,” on West Coast Highway in Newport Beach, the wind chimes at Fashion Island or the history wall at the Peace Officers Memorial in Tustin.
