The DMV is a bit tougher on older drivers

Q. I am more than 70 years of age and took the written Department of Motor Vehicles test this year. This is a prejudice against older drivers. Everyone who renews his or her driver’s license, regardless of age, should have to take the test. As it is now, you study the rules at age 16 but do not have to study rules for more than 50 years. This is wrong!  Everyone should know the rules of driving at all ages, not just at ages 16 and 70.
