Tanner Brubaker, UC Irvine baseball hold off Cal State Fullerton

FULLERTON – UC Irvine owes a debt to San Clemente High School for sending the program Andre Pallante and Tanner Brubaker.
Pallante, who beat Cal State Fullerton Friday night 7-3 with a strong seven-inning effort, watched his high school teammate Brubaker do likewise Saturday in a 7-4 win over Cal State Fullerton at Goodwin Field.
Brubaker, who didn’t become a pitcher until he started college ball, allowed just three hits in six innings before leaving after two unearned runs scored in
