Taco Bell will remove Mexican Pizza from its menu this year

Fans of Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza only have two months to enjoy it.
The Irvine-based fast food giant is pulling it off the menu on Nov. 5 as part of a pledge it made in January to be more eco-friendly in its packaging, according to a news release.
Packaging for the snack generates more than 7 million pounds of paper waste a year, according to the company.
Mexican Pizza is a layer of ground beef and refried beans between to tortillas, topped with sauce, grated cheese and diced tomato.
