Swimming notebook: Foothill Swim Games return this week

The 45th Foothill Swim Games return this week offering swimmers a prominent opportunity to post fast times before league finals.
The three-day meet kicks off Thursday with the boys prelims at 3 p.m. The girls prelims follow Friday at 3 p.m. The combined finals are Saturday at 10 a.m.
The early list of entrants includes Crean Lutheran, the Dana Hills boys, Foothill, Irvine, Mater Dei, Northwood, Santa Margarita, Tesoro, University, Woodbridge and Yorba Linda.
