Swim notes: Mater Dei sweeps titles at Capo Valley Relays

Mater Dei’s boys and girls swimming teams sprinted to titles at the Capistrano Valley Relays on Saturday.
The Monarchs’ boys captured six of the seven events en route to scoring 120 points. They outdistanced runner-up University by 30 points.
University snapped Mater Dei’s bid for a complete sweep by capturing the 200-yard backstroke relay.
